Swivel Sweeper G2

I was curious if anyone had one and what they thought of it for use in light cleaning of chinchilla's playroom. It got decent reviews but curious how it'd do on "presents" left on the floor and hay.

I love my swivel sweeper G2~ however, it will not pick up long pieces of hay! it works great on the poops flung out of the cage, and if you get it online, the little handheld one (it came with mine as an "added gift") works great for picking poops off the fleece cage liners between washings (at least twice daily lol) but if youre thinking it will pick up longer pieces of hay, youll just be dissapointed. That said, i got the 2 for 1 deal and keep one for the chin and one for the kids..... love it!

I have one, and use it every day for my chins scattered poops! It works fairly well, as long as you empty it frequently.

It picks up everything that the chins throw in the floor and can fairly easily get up under everything. It does great with hay and droppings.

I had the swivel sweeper and traded it in for a shark. Like Susan, I find the shark picks up the hay better.

The Shark picks up the hay like they designed it to pick up hay...and it has a larger storage bin in it that you won't have to empty as much. The only downside to it is that they made the mechanism inside cheaply and the handle can break off. But, you have to understand that I use this thing for at least an hour or two a day, so my sweeper sees more action in a month than most people will give it in years. I have to buy a new one every three to four months because I wear something out on the thing.

I LOVE the way the handle bends so that I can get under the cage racks...that is just fantastically wonderful...
