Switching their hidey houses?

I know this is probably not a big deal I just wanted to check. I have one chin in still in quarantine and her cage is fairly small. Right now it's packed with a hammock, chin spin, hay rack, food bowl and tiles, soon to be shelves (my brother is making them this weekend) and a super pet woodland getaway house. I'm trying to give her the most of a small space and the house takes up a lot of the floor space. I have a much smaller, wall mounted house in Cindy's cage (the chin I want to pair her with) that would give her more room and am planning on ordering a two-entrance, larger house for when they end up living together. Anyway, after I sand it down, could having Cindy's scent on in the house hurt the introduction later on? Lilly is chewing this one up so fast that I'm going to need to get her a new one soon anyway, but I'd rather not order a second smaller one if I don't have to.
