Sweet PDZ? Drying?

Has anyone who uses sweet pdz as a dust alternative found it to be drying to their chins coats?

I notice them not feeling as soft and silky and a little.. idk.. nappy? without knots though

I did not notice but I use it only during non-show season

I didn't like the Sweet PDZ at all when I tried it on my chins. It felt like it made the fur thicker and harsher feeling, like it was burnt. I noticed the fur clumping a lot too.

I have tried it as a dust and yes, I have noticed that it dried out Herby's coat. I now am using the Blue Cloud and I use the PDZ as an odor controllant mixed with her aspen shavings. I also noticed that it dried out my hands when I would hold her..
