I'm not sure what to think of this movie. I watched the entire thing and it puzzled me a bit. Besides the fact that my brain makes me have to point out all the technical flaws in the movie. Like...WHY do the surrogates drive cars? They can run a million miles an hour and jump 15 feet straight up...and are extremely strong...why need cars in a big city?

Anyway...I think it could have been a pretty good movie and perhaps to other people it was. The robots are kinda creepy and the people using them are infinitely MORE creepy. It's like Second Life for real? There are a couple of aspects that would be helpful about using one of the robots, but not helpful enough to use it all the time!

Did anyone else see this? What did you think? There wasn't THAT much of a story behind it and the movie tried so hard to depend on special effects and shocking things to keep a viewer watching.

I saw it, but totally forgot about it, which is a bad thing. It seems like there are so many movies like this and i didn't love it. A little too sci-fi for me.

I watched it the other nite when I was talking to you in chat Susan. I couldn't pay attention to it. I thought it was horribly written, for pretty much the same reasons you stated. Though I watched Paranormal Activity last nite and thought the same thing.

Yeah...if they are going to put that much work into a movie and invest that much money, why not write it so that the plot is interesting? Bruce Willis' surrogate was creepy looking...he doesn't look like that! He's like 83 now... :D

I love sci-fi. I liked this movie. I agree it could have been better and there were a few plot holes, but overall the story held my interest. Then again, I like watching cheesy Korean movies and the old sci-fi shows like Buck Rogers and the original Battlestar Galactica.
