A couple of weeks ago Stacie was mentioning her lust of Nick Carter from The Backstreet Boys and some of the people in chat were shocked to learn he had really shaped up and was pretty darn hot now. After discussing this I thought to myself, man I've always loved those Backstreet Boys, I should get some of their music on my IPod.

Okay it was a thought, I hadn't acted on it . . . UNTIL ----

I was at TJ Maxx the other day and heard a song on their radio and I went, hey this is the new Hanson! I know Taylor Hanson's voice a zillion miles away I don't care if I am 47.

So I went over to the Best Buy snagged the new Hanson, went home and dug out my old CD's and had to create a new playlist for the IPod---Boy Bands!

I've got N*Sync, The Backstreet Boys, and Hanson playing here tonight at work! OMG I think the cleaning people think I'm nuts!

Oh but I love the boy bands. Back in the day, you wouldn't catch me without a Hanson, BSB or N'Sync shirt on. I was a major teeny bopper. I heard Hanson's new song about a month ago and went crazy - it's beyond catchy. It just takes me back to the days when things were much easier.

PS... Nick Carter was much hotter when I was a kid ;p

I love the boy bands too! And actually, BSBs are touring right now. Well, 4 of them, one isn't.

Anyway - I like their music. Nobody is dying, nobody is getting beaten, nobody's dog got run over by a car, there are no drugs involved, no cops being killed - whatever. It's fun and it's energetic and catchy.

Kevy Kev has left the band. Man I was sooooo in love with AJ too! I was so close to buying tickets to see them at the warfield but I couldn't bring myself to do it without Kevin there. It just didn't seem right. I've seen them in concert 4 times when they were hot though.

They were in Raleigh sometime last month and I saw the photos the day after the concert. I was angry that I didn't hear about it until after the fact, but I couldn't believe how different they looked. They still have it in them though

Well here's something just in to make me feel WAY ancient! Zach Hanson the youngest Hanson boy is going to be a dad AGAIN! He and his wife are expecting baby number 2! They got married in 2006 when he was 20 had baby number one when he was 22 and at 24 he's going to be a dad again! Wow! Taylor has 4 kids I believe! wow!
