Does anyone have a chin that makes a squealing noise when they're excited?

I've noticed Diesel does it. He's done it several times now..the first time freaked me out because I've never heard a chin do it just because before. I've only heard it when they are scared.

The first time happened after I gave him his dust bath..he had just finished and was popcorning around his cage when he let out this high pitched squeal..it reminded me of my cockatoo. I thought he had hurt himself popcorning around like a mad man but he seemed fine.

Second time it happened, he did it after I had just put some new hanging toys in...once again while popcorning.

He did it again today when I put in new shelves in his cage. Once again while popcorning..so I finally figured out he must just do it out of excitement? He did it 3 or 4 times...it's hilarious now that I know he's not getting hurt...I've just never heard a chin do it before out of excitement!

Never heard mine do that but he chases his tail when he's popcorning in his cage or out for a run. It's so funny to watch I nearly died of laughter the first time I saw that. Somebody on here told me white chins do some peculiar things like flipping over and over etc. so in my chins case it makes some sense because he is white. Is Diesel white?

Gus does it in his sleep... wish I knew what he was dreaming about :)

Bronco, Ty, Pow Wow, and Blackjack all do this to me quite a bit. They do it to make me crazy. They know I will come running thinking someone is hurt. It could be excitement, but at least with Bronco I know it is because he's trying to get me to come play with him...and, guess what, it works. :)

Richie does this. It actually sounds like a squeaky door! He mostly does it when he wants to come out or if I put him back in, so I associate it with him being more upset than happy.

Stack, Leonard does this to a fever pitch! I call it his "I'm trying to get a girlfriend" squeal as he does this quite often at night when looking across at Bobo and GiGi

LOL Remember that little chin with the nerve damage? I put his cage next to a cage of girls and he makes the monkey, I want girlies sound all the time now with the little squeal at the end. :D Just had to share because Laurie made me remember to tell you. :p

Rosey squeals when she decides its playtime and I dont take her out fast enough to suit her heheh.
Its actually quite a scary screaming noise, and the first few times she did it I went running to her cage.....now she knows that it gets my attention unfortunately!!
