A number of times recently I've heard one of my chins let out a squeak- sounding like a stereotypical mouse squeak sort of noise, not the little squeaks that they will do normally when happy or whatnot (not any of the noises on the chin sounds link). I pretty much only hear it when I hear one of the chins jump and it sounds like someone is in pain.
I figured out it was Ferdinand just now, did a hair ring check, felt his tummy, looked at his feet to see if anything was off- all seemed fine. He's acting normally, he hasn't been eating his pellets as much as normal but continues to eat the same amount of hay as usual, no unusual poops that I can see.
Any ideas of why he could be squeaking like this?
Thanks
