Ok, so I've got a Marshall's Penthouse and if at all possible, I'd love to split it and have my girls in one half and boys in the other. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could maybe use?

Ummmm.... I would get a costom pan by Bass and hang it where the center plastic pan appears to be. JThats all I got.

For a Penthouse, there is no "center plastic pan." It's simply shelves that you put to your liking, kind of like a Superpetz cage. I know someone had split one before, but I forget who and how.

No, they don't fit right for that, not to mention some have jump holes. So, Stack. Wanna send me one of those FNs? ;)

Do the sides come apart?

I'm just wondering if you could put a couple of the plastic shelves across the middle, and then custom order a bass pan to fit inside it and lay that on top of the plastic shelves. The plastic shelves would hold the pan in place.

But I've never seen one of the cages, so maybe that won't work either!

It does. I'd never thought of that Alli. I could even probably take the top "lid" off and slid a pan down in that way...

Alrighty, pan was ordered today! Should be here by next weekend. Keith and I are gonna do the shelves and hopefully get everyone situated in their new cages!

Welp, we got the cage seperated! It looks great, and Keith had a ton of fun (I think too much) decorating. He built the two lipped shelves in the cages, and the smaller ledges come from Susan. We have one more cage to do tomorrow and that's to get ready for Noon!

The boys are on top, the girls are on the bottom, and then there's a pic of the whole cage.

This is what I was thinking, but maybe could you use some wood shelves to hold it up so it would be stronger.
