Ok, I wasn't sure where else to post this, but...

Here's my slight dilemma. Very recently, my air conditioner (window unit) has started to spit water out the place where the air blows out. I thought maybe it was in the window wrong, so therefore not draining properly, but it's continue to doing it. Now, it wouldn't be a problem if there weren't electrical stuff around it (the chord, outlet, etc), but well...

Any suggestions? It's been off for a few hours now yet continues to spit whenever I turn it on, but I need it til I can at least get a new one. I don't even remember the make of it lol

Your condensor is probably frozen, if it's not blowing cold, or the drain is clogged, filling the bottom with water! Unplug it, let it sit for about 15 min, and check behind the filter. If not "frozen-up", look under the controls for water. If flooded, you'll have to find the drain hole in the base, and stick a nail in there to open it up. If you've a small hose coming out, blow into it to clean it out! [but get it out of your mouth quickly, as that's pretty yucky water] Clean the filter as long as it's out, and you should be good to go!

I know it's not frozen, cuz it's blowing cold air out. But being clogged is a very real possibility, what with 7 chins in the room haha

I'd also remove the filter and vacuum out the coils and "fins" of the condensor - everything! Will make it a lot more efficient, too!
I know even a pair of ceiling fans will get "hairy" pretty quick with a lot of chins in one room!

Well, I pulled it out of the window, and drained it. But now, it doesn't want to turn back on  It's two years old and was 'cheaper' so it wouldn't surprise me if it's dead, but man.

anyone have an AC for sale cheap in the lancaster area? Lol

Let it sit for a while - the compressor oil has to settle and trip the safety switch before it'll go back on! Prevents burn up with the oil not in the right place!
Did you get the hole opened?

Yeah, it drained and everything, but it's still not working. We've already had to re-do the plug once (Yay for mice), so it wouldn't surprise me if moving it around so much screwed with it. *sigh* Just means a need a new AC now.

Re-do the plug again - you'd probably save a ton-o-money!
