Do all chins popcorn??

My Stitch is the spaziest of the 3 and whenever he is out for playtime he is a popcorning machine. He will popcorn from one end of the bathroom to the other. It is the cutest thing ever.

Now Richie, while he is being treated for malo, doesnt and honestly never really did, at least not with Stitch's enthusiasm.

Zucca my new rescue, who I have had for 3 weeks has been out for playtime a few times but hasnt popcorned once. he is a little skittish and has difficulty jumping or at least figuring out he can go higher, i wonder if his previous owner ever let him out of the cage???

So I was just wondering................do your chins have different popcorn levels??

Definitely have different popcorn levels here! I have only seen Roo & Smudge popcorn maybe twice, and I've had them for about 3 years now. Koda will popcorn over anything and everything..he'll popcorn while he's running in his wheel even.

My chins have different popcorn levels and they also changed their popcorning habits with age. It seems they popcorn less as they get older.

Just curious...I'm not sure if my chin is popcorning or not. I give her a dust bath, then she goes on top of her house, and either looks like she's got an itch and jumps, or she popcorns.....*shrug* just wondering if she really is popcorning, or if she's got an itch.
Thanks!

My chin will popcorn when I am sitting in her pen with her and get her all riled up. The sillier I get, the sillier she gets. It becomes quite the game!

LOL, "popcorn levels." I don't know why, I just found that term amusing. Anyways, from what I've observed, my violet seems to popcorn a lot more than my standard grey. In fact, I don't think I've seen my standard grey popcorn at all, or very rarely.

Bryson has his days. Some days he would just rather push my buttons and chew on the door than play. :hair: Some days he will popcorn and wall surf the entire play time.

Ande hasn't quite got the concept of popcorning yet. He watches Bryson and kinda just rolls his face on the ground then does a tiny jump, almost like something spooked him. I guess that's his version of a popcorn. :) He also doesn’t know how to wall surf. He will try, but just ends up doing a belly flop onto the wall and sliding down... poor guy :hilarious:

Oh gosh, Trixie is the popcorning queen. Especially right after getting out of her dust bath. She will popcorn across the room after a bath.,

Kunya popcorns all the time when it's playtime. I haven't seen Ashe do it yet, but she is learning to love her new home with us! Hopefully she will popcorn soon!

I have some that do and some that don't :)). They all have such different personalities it totally amazes me (and freaks people out when I am describing them lol). "Outsiders" just don't get it *shakes head* lol...

How funny! My last three chins never popcorned at all!! But Powder just can't seem to stop. It's entertaining as all heck to watch. Glad to know that it's a natural thing. I was starting to believe that my rescue chin was "special". lol :)

I definately think they all popcorn but not all do it the same. Some do it more then others for sure

Tilly is a popcorn queen and the cutest thing is that we moved Gizmo in with her when she was just a baby and Gizmo slowly learned to popcorn and now when Tilly does, Gizzy does right after ... they just fly around the room popcorning one after the other
