Hi, I'm new to the forum and was wondering if anyone could help me figure out what's going on lol.
I'll introduce myself and my lovelies first =] I'm Lina, I'm from the UK and live with my boyfriend, two lovely female Degus and my boy chinchilla Pablo. All rescues (appart from the bf lol) We have recently just got Pablo from the rescue where I volunteer and are still learning.
Now, here we go...
In the few days Pablo's been getting a lot tamer and keeps coming up to me for tickles. BUT, when I stroke his chest (just below his chin) he does a little squeaky sneeze thing and shakes his head (a bit like a dog does when its wet) =/ Is this normal? He doesn't move away. It's quite cute in a way but I was just making sure nothings wrong, as it is a bit strange...lol

What your doing is giving him their favorite scratch, i think there is even a thread dedicated to it lol. My chin does that, i think it means they're annoyed, everything gets annoyed so i would say its normal. Welcome, i forgot to say that.

Thanks a lot for the quick replies and your help.
I'm glad it's nothing bad haha. Still taking him to the vets for a check up because we aren't sure about his sight. He's totally changed since being at the rescue though which is good.
Eeee I just played the 'chinchilla sounds' and Pablo was copying the noise. Was pretty cute but I think he needs a friend. We are looking around the rescues near us. So I may need some advice with intro's if I can't find what I need on other threads.
