Ok i am about to order one of these but i have a quick question, it says the bottom is plexi but i thought plexi glass wasnt machine washable? Am i wrong or is it something else?

Thanks,

I emailed her but no response.

Do you have a picture of one? I have never saw a snuggle hut!

You just take out the plexi glass like you would a PVC tube before washing the fleece.

I already posted in here that I have four of them, and I should of added that the ones I have the fleece doesn't come off and I did get them from the same place that whiskers387 gave a link too. Now i'm not saying anything bad about this person so don't take this wrong, but I would also like to know how to clean them when they get dirty. I don't know if everyone makes them this way or if some people make them so that you can take the fleece off them. But I'm sure one day they will be loaded with pee and will need to be washed, so if anyone has any suggestions, please do tell.

thanks,
jean

We don't own any of these but if I did and needed to wash it I would just take it outside and wash it with the hose. Then let it dry in the sun before you put it back in the cage. As long as you make sure its dry and don't store it somewhere damp/dark it shouldn't mold. I am assuming these don't have any additional layers and are just fleece? So it woulnd't be to hard to wash them with a little soap and water.

I would just hand wash them in a bucket with some laundry soap. Then just rinse it really well and air dry. I air dry a lot of my clothes and they don't mold, it might just take a bit longer being fleece. I think you'd just use warm, not hot water and it'd be fine.

great idea. I"m such a ditz at times, thats what i do when i use fleece cuz it's so smelly and they dont' clean well if you just wash them

thanks for the idea.

Could you cut out one side (to remove plexi) then use velcro to close shut w/w-out plexi? just a thought

I know Nicole (Riven) used to make them, so maybe someone could ask her how she recommended washing them if nothing else.

well does anyone even know if it is plexi glass or is it a different material, and kinda off topic but when yall wash fleece in the washing machine do you just hang it to dry or use the dry because it seems like it shrinks more every time!

Does anyone know the dimensions of it because idk if i can fit it in my cage!
