Sneezes or Barks?

I just heard Chachi make a whimpering like noise two times in a row while he was sleeping. I can't tell if it is a bark or a sneeze. It wasn't very loud, but it did make me react.

I checked the sounds link posted on here, and it does sound like a very light chirp or bark. I also heard it once this morning while he was in his tube.

I myself am getting over a cold so now I am paranoid he may have caught it.

I heard no wheezing and as far as I know, there is no discharge coming from his eyes or nose... (yet?)

After he made these sounds, he started eating some hay.

Today is the first day I've ever heard it. He hasn't had a bath in 2 days, so I know it's not dust.

So.. does a sneeze sound like a bark, or is it completely different? I can't find any sneeze sounds...

A sneeze sounds exactly the same as a human one, maybe slightly higher pitched. You probably heard a bark. Im nursing 3 chins with URI at the moment and you'd know for sure if it was a sneeze. x

I agree, theyre distinct. I think barking sounds like a "MEH" noise

Thanks! I'm still going to keep an ear out just in case. If he continues to do it, I'll def just get him checked to be on the safe side. Because this is the first time I ever heard him make a peep, I'm still unsure! He's a very quiet little man..
