Sleepwalking this morning

So I guess at around 1 am I got out of bed thinking I saw a rat on my pillow, I went to my dad's bedroom door and told him to get up and that I needed help. He said "What's wrong?" and I said "There's a rat in my bed" and he's like "What....?" and I was like "It was on my pillow by my head. Its a rat, come get it for me." and then I said "Never mind I don't know what I'm doing." then I went back to bed.


I guess I was sleepwalking? How weird though, I remember it all, and my dad asked me why I was saying that this morning and I had no idea, I guess I dreamed the rat was on my pillow?

That's so funny. Reminds me of when I got ready for school at 3am on a sat on day and woke dad because I was going to be late. Only that I didn't remember.

Omg, that's so weird! I had a friend that slept walk on a regular basis, it was pretty scary because she would go outside and try to drive and stuff. Her b/f has to watch her pretty closely.

If you remember it all, my guess is it wouldn't be sleep walking. But weird none-the-less.

Wow! That is very odd.

I talk in my sleep, but I've had my little sister sleepwalk. Shes 6, and one morning I woke up to her walking into my plant against the wall. I guess she was trying to go somewhere? I got her though and put her back to bed. Poor girl. She had no idea she did it, it was obvious she wasn't there.

My boyfriend will sleep walk...well drunk walk. Woke up one morning to the sound of peeing. I yell at him what are you doing as I see him standing in front of his hamper and he snaps out of it partially and responds "nothing." I yell at him to go to the bathroom the extra 2 feet away. Luckily a towel caught most of it. It was morning though where I wish I had a dog cuz that would make a little more sense.

haha my little brother did that all the time!!! Yeah I think I just woke up from a dream and wasn't all there. People have some funny stories with sleepwalking though!

hahaha these stories are hilarious.

I have fallen asleep in bed and ended up on the couch by morning with no clue how I got there, I'm not sure what crazy tasks I did on the way from the bedroom to the living room lol.

Last year at this time my 8 year old was sleepwalking at least once or twice a week for a period of 2 months sometimes she'd skip a week. I took her to her pediatrician on the recommendation of her teacher, she checked out ok but she gave me a few articles about it and one said they could come about from illness and maybe stress.

I used to have these dreams all the time when I was in high school. I was always so disappointed wake up and find that I didn't already shower and get dressed. It's like I had to do the work all over again.

ugh i totally understand! i'd dream that I actually got ready to wake my parents up to drive me to school and actually dream about the lesson....then wake up 15 minutes later finding myself in bed and I actually didn't get to school yet! it was always such a bummer =[

I too have gotten up, showered, and gotten dressed, thinking I was going to be super late for school, and ran out to my car to get ready to go to school, only to realize it was still dark, which wasn't enough to stop me, since during the winter around here, it's still pretty dark outside around 7:00 when I would leave for school. lol. It wasn't until I got in the car and looked at the clock that I realized it was such and such a time, and then I'd have to check my cell phone an dmy watch to make sure that my radio clock wasn't wrong, lol.

I always know its time for a vacation when I start answering the work phone in my sleep. My bf had a good laugh about that one night. Its happened about 2 or 3 times from what he says.. lol

My fiance doesn't sleep walk, but he talks in his sleep all the time. It gets pretty scary when he will start doing so in a different language. Sounds like a combination of german and latin and boy does he yell it! If I try to talk to him, he gets so upset with me and tells me off in this strange language, as if I should know what he's talking about. I'll ask him the next morning about it, he says he has no clue. He has also kicked and shaked so violently during his sleep that I have to smack him awake to tell him to stop!
