Skunks

I am soon to get my first skunk, i am based in the UK.

Can anyone tell me of any good sites for info on them? I have found skunks as pets and Skunk haven to be very useful for generic care info.

I am especially looking for information on the skunk shows for good skunk standards/qualities as i know the shows take place in America. I am also looking for any information on the genetics of them - especially colour clasification and pattern genetics or anyone who can tel me more about that side of things rather than just the care information.

Any help you can give me on information or breeders who might be able to help would be greatly appreciated as UK keepers seem to not know a great deal or are very closed lipped about passing it on

I love skunks! The feed store had one for a while. I didn't know there were skunk shows. Skunks are illegal to keep as pets in most states. Others require you to have a permit/license to keep them so not too many people have them.

Skunkfest seems to be the biggest skunk show in the states but have found details of smaller ones as well on some sites
