I was wondering if anyone knew how to get rid of a skunk. Like get it to relocate elsewhere.
I left my dogs outside to the bathroom before I go to bed each night which varies between 1am - 3am. About a month or so ago, I let Demon and Diesel out about 2:30am and they apparently scared a skunk. The yard smelled bad, but neither one of them did.
Tonight, I let Felix out to the bathroom at about 1am. I stood on the porch waiting for him and he was barking and growling. Nothing unusual for him he barks and growls out the cats for some reason. I looked in the direction he was barking and that wasn't a cat running up the sidewalk toward the porch. So I told Felix to get in the house repeatedly until he did. He wasn't sprayed either.
I'm pretty sure it went beneath the porch.
Anyways, anyone know of a things that can be done to get this thing to go live elsewhere or visit elsewhere.
I read online moth balls, lemon scents ammonia, and other weird things.
However, we need a way that is safe for not only the skunk but also outdoor cats, strays, and then my dogs when they are out.
