Skin colors?

Does anyone have chins with variation on their skin colors? I just recently adopted an 8 month old ebony male chinchilla and while doing a quick exam, I noticed that his genitals are partly black. It doesn't look unhealthy or sickly, it just kinda looks like a birthmark, but I just wanted to know if this is natural or if something is wrong.
