Sisters helping each other with babies

I thought this was sweet and wanted to share. I had a female who is in a cage with her sister and a male give birth to triplets yesterday. As she was delivering the babies her sister would clean them and tuck them under her. Today the sister had a litter of one and when I went to check on them again both sisters are staying right next to each other taking care of the babies together. Hopefully each mom will nurse 2 a piece, so there won't be any fighting amongst the babies. I will get a picture or video later today.

It must be a joy to watch the moms care for and love each others kits. I use runs so it's never happened here.

Awww thats so heart warming. Back when I raised guinea pigs the moms would baby sit for each other, its nice to know that chins can do it too. ^^
