When I pulled into my driveway this morning after work, I saw two Robins in the neighbors front yard. It's been pretty wet and rainy around here so I'm sure there are a lot of worms for them to eat. I was so happy to see them. Also, the grass is greening up a little bit and I can see the leaves popping up out of the ground that will be my crocuses, tulips and hyacinths. What is your signs of Spring that you are seeing?

My tulips are coming up! One of my willow trees have also began to bud. Another sign: severe thunderstorms! We had a bad storm with 92 mph winds on Sunday, and they are calling for more strong storms tonight.

The skunks that live under our deck are out and smelling. I'll be glad when they clue in that we live here too. lol

Does -22F count? Any signs of spring that we had went back into hiding during our lovely deep freeze right now

Try -50 (out here at the airport). The houses are all making loud poping and cracking noises, and my car door handle nearly snapped right off. Grrrrrrrrr. I drove into Edmonton this morning and thought - wow, it actually feels warmer.

I have some tulips coming up already, but my lilac tree isn't budding yet. I love lilacs and I can't wait to have lilacs, I just wish spring flowers lasted longer.

I smelled skunk when I was driving home from work last night! So gross but so hopefull too!

We had temps last week that were around 50 degrees and flowers were starting to come up and certain undercover plants in our woods were budding as well as ground cover emerging. Got the kids signed up for soccer. Yesterday we got about 3 inches of snow which was mostly gone by the afternoon when the sun came out. But now we have a northeast wind blowing - predicted between 30-40 mph - which brought the temps down to the negatives. I'm really tired of the warm spell, then cold spell...I'm ready for spring!

Today it's oooooooooohhhhhhh so nice out - fixing to go out and do some yard work. It's forecast to be a high of 81 today (the record for today is 82 - so we'll see if we break that later today). Saw the tigerlilies poking through the ground yesterday while I was out getting the mail...along with a Cardinal sitting in the budding dogwood tree. Aahhhhhh.....it's finally beginning to look like Spring around here. ;)

Its getting to get WARM at nighttime again......No need to wrap up like in our ''winter'' LOL. Clear blue skies.......etc. ;)

After the storms come through tonight we're supposed to be back down in the mid 40s :( It's supposed to be 75 today before the storms so I'm trying to get as much done outside as possible!

I've had to have the a/c on for the chins the last three days... ugh! Daffodils were out a couple weeks ago, but we've had a little snow since then so I am sure they are gone.

I'm not a fan of summer - too hot - and this already feels like it!! I have to get used to living down here.

The annoying mocking bird is back. LOL
I don't mind birds singing, its actually really pretty and relaxing. But there is something about mocking birds that I can't stand. Perhaps its the fact that they are loud and begin their singing ritual around midnight and don't stop until 9am!!!!

Oh, and the smell of plants and flowers is starting to start. :)

Well, it was in the 20's with 5 inches of snow and just a few days later it jumped up to 85. Yeah, NC weather is crazy! Also our fruit trees are blooming and our daffodils. I love this weather :)

The trees are budding.. the smell of warm pasted fall leaves, LOTS of rain & gloomy days mixed with some nice ones..The sound of birds, of course..Ive gone into organization & spring cleaning mode..

Im really hoping next week will be a little more promising than this one, but its warming up a little, so i wont complain TOO much.

I'm soooooooooo not complaining! I'm on Spring Break this week so I'm eating this nice weather up! Course, tonight that cold front that Stacie's gonna get and send this way will come thru and then we'll hit the high 40s-low 50s again, but I can deal with that, so long as it's NOT SNOW!!!!!!

It's time to move out your way!
