Sides of Chinchilla Townhome bowing

The top of my girl's cage looks like this. This side of the cage has several perches attached to it, instead of a third shelf. The weight of the perches makes this side of the cage bow inward. This makes the perches wobbly. I have been putting a small binder ringer to hold the side of the cage to the edge of the top. It makes it much sturdier. I was wondering if anyone could suggest anything else? The rest of their cage is filled with toys and tubes, not really leaving room for me to move the perches. I would put the third shelf in, but they prefer their perches to shelves.

Aren't those sides supposed to be secured together with J-Clips???

J-clips?

The front of the cage has the hooks on the springs that latch it closed. This is the right side of the cage.

My boys have the same cage, but this does not happen with theirs. They have all three shelves though.

Sometime when you have me send you something else, have me send some j-clips and pliers. That way you can tighten that up so it doesn't bow.
