Rachel Alexander won the Preakness - she beat the 'boy's and became the first filly in 85 years to win the Preakness. 2 weeks ago she ran in a race against fillies and won by 20 lengths. She didn't even look tired after winning today. What a horse !!!

It was a great race... I really like that filly, but I LOVE Mike Smith so I had to root for Mine That Bird. Had he not been blocked for a bit on the final stretch I think he would have won it, Rachel Alexandra struggled a bit at the end there according to Calvin. Still a really great race and Mike shouldn't be disappointed with a second on MTB to Rachel Alexandra.
