I just ordered (finally) metal bass pans for both of my FN's I sewed four sets of pillow case style fleece covers for the original plastic pans but my parents have been on me about the poop that flies out of the cage. I know there is another fabric that people put in their liners to help soak up the pee, I just can't remember what it was called :hmm:. The covers I have now soak up most of it and then I wipe down the pans and wash them every other day but I'm afraid the metal would rust if I did the same with the new pans... Thanks in advance!

People sew in a layer of terry cloth (like a towel) quilt material, a layer of batting or even just an extra layer of fleece. Just be sure that the chins cannot access the inner layer
