Second Opinion on this Ferret Nation cage

So for all the avid fans of the ferret nations can you just tell me if you think this cage is useable considering some of the stuff missing or taken out. I'm not worried about the shelves-just the pans/center grate. Do you find you remove these?

"I have a second hand ferret nation model 142 cage that I used as a large bird cage. The cage is in excellent condition but I removed the wheels and center wire grate (I still have them). The cage is 36"Lx 25"Wx 62"H. I can't take pictures my camera isn't working but this is what it looks like. The bar space is7/8 inch so great for a medium to large bird or can be used for ferrets or chinchillas etc. Please email with any questions. I have the 2 mid-level platforms and both ramps but the tray inserts were not usable so I pitched them and used my own material. "

Lots of people use them w/ the middle section taken out. Just put lots of shelves, hammocks, etc.

I would go and see it. They threw out the trays and ramps, which is fine because chins dont need those anyways...and some people just have the outter shell of the cage and add hammocks, homemade shelves etc. But go see it just incase!

Well I would like to split it in the event I wanted to have two seperate homes so I wasn't sure if I could do that if they removed things. If they still have it in a couple of weeks then I am going to go and get it.

It sounds like it comes with the middle section divider but it is not in the cage. It is pretty easy to put back in if it comes with it.

I don't know how much they are selling it for, but it I would look into it.
