Scritches huh?

I've had my little man for a bit over three months. He let's me pick him up and sometimes hold him for a short time, but he never let's me give him scritches or pet him. Is this normal? Will he warm up to that over time?

Perfectly normal. Some like scritches and others don't. The same is true for petting them.

Some do and some don't. I have 2 that hate being touched on their backs and will only allow scritches when they're really tired. Even then, they have duration and pressure rules that I have to adhere to. My other two will let me do whatever I want. All you can do is keep trying and be respectful of him when he pushes you away... unless you're taking him to the vet, of course. Then all bets are off. )
