Is anyone else taking summer classes. This is my last week, we had an Advances Medical Assessment course crammed into 5 weeks!

I'm ready for a break!

The program I am in requires me to go year-round for 2 years. We go in quarters, so our terms usually last about 12 weeks, with a week break in between. I'm ready to be done!

I can't imagine a class in 5 weeks. That's got to be a lot of info cramming.

I have to take this Emerging and Exotic Diseases of Animals class. It's such a bore, mostly about paper pushing for import and export, crossing state lines, etc. It's required by law, so at least the gov't is paying for it and it's not coming (directly) out of my pocket. 34 quizzes - yuck!

I just finished my summer class, it was also about 5 weeks but I was only taking 1.5 credits. The class was entirely online, about preventing hearing loss and counts toward my gym/health degree requirement. Nothing like taking PhysEd from the sofa!

You guys are so brave! I decided to take the summer off from classes. I have been going year round for three years and I just had enough. I have heard of people taking 5 week courses- that must be a real bear! Couldn't imagine, but I may have to end up doing it someday.

I am taking Evidence this summer and it is supposed to be an 8 week class, but the professor is pregnant and had summer conferences and a few other things. We are doing what is normally an 18 week class in 8 weeks but in reality 5 weeks. Basically sitting through 3 days of lecture a day.

This class is required to stay on course for the program. Our semesters are basically split up into 8 week courses, like Med Surge I for 8 weeks, then Med Surge II for 8 weeks, etc. But the 5 weeks was kind of pushing it!

So glad to have some time for summer before it's over!
