i could not sleep at night so i brought my chin out at 2 am while doing my work then suddenly, she stared at me and started whimpering loudly i was wondering what was happening as i scanned the room but there was nothing. but the whimpering continued so i was scared then i quickly put her back in her cage. until now that still bugged me..... ('_',)

she may have heard a noise that scared her. we know what noises are (car slamming, furnace firing up, etc), but chins have no idea what is making the noise.

i wouldn't let it bug you too much, unless her behaviour changes and she doesn't act like her usual self.

Yeah, it may have been she needed to pee. Mine never pee when having outside playtime.
