I'm the proud new owner of a 10 week old chin named Bruce. I'm new to chins but have had lots of different animals before and currently have 2 guinea pigs, 3 cats, 2 dogs, and 1 horse besides the new chin.

I'm here to learn more about these little puffs so I can provide the best possible care for the little guy. Just from reading a little on here, I've already bought a ferret nation 182 and am on the hunt for fleece sets and wood shelves! So much fun shopping for Bruce!

Welcome to CnH. There are a lot of people that sell fleece. You can always go to Home Depot or Lowe's to make your own shelves. The wood just needs to be kiln dry pine. If you don't have a saw give them dimensions and they will do the cuttings.

Thanks, here's some pictures of Bruce. He is light grey (so far) like his mom, dad is a darker grey.

He is very curious about us and will almost always come over and climb on our hands and arms. My brother owned the mom and dad and he was the only baby and they handled him a lot so I think that really helped his friendliness.

We have already placed an order with camphor chins for a fleece liner set, some ledges, and a chin buddy (since he's alone) and some other stuff we needed. I borrowed someone's idea for the wood frame to keep hay/poop in and he also has a pyrex litterbox that he is mostly using for pee. I can't wait for all his goodies to come.
