Safe hay holder?

Here's the link to the hay holder, my ex girlfriend used it for her rabbit and I thought that it worked really well, easy to fill, holds quite a bit. Just making sure it's safe for my chin.

That could work as long as you hang it on the outside of the cage. Inside it poses a safety issue as chins can jump on it and get a leg caught.

I have that same hay holder. Chi chi would jump on it and i was afraid of her getting hurt so i put a shelf above it. with enough space i can take it out and refill but not enough space for her to get on it anymore.

There is also a risk of them cage surfing, however, and getting their leg caught between the bars that way.
