Russell Crowe rant

I am not a Russell Crowe fan and I don't care who knows! I just found out that neither Mel Gibson, nor Clint Eastwood have a star on the Hollywood walk of fame, yet Russell Crowe will be getting one in 2010! What prompted me to discover this? Dennis Hopper was just awarded his today. He is in failing health and I'm glad to see he was honored and recognized before his death.

Russell Crowe is not the man I think everyone thinks he is! Paul Newman wasn't recognized for such great works like Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Hud, Cool Hand Luke, Absence of Malice or the Verdict as he did not get an oscar for any of those stellar performances, yet Russell Crowe won for Gladiator! ARG!

I find him to be fat, ugly and annoying as all get out!!!!

I totally agree w/ you, but I feel differently than many people do about stars. Eastwood and Newman really deserve a walk of fame star more than Russell Crowe! I mean, has he actually done anything else worth watching after Gladiator??

They have to pay for their own stars on that walk. It may be that Gibson and Eastwood don't want to spend the $25,000 for installation, staging, security, and the ceremony.
