Rose Hips Question

Quick question. I just got a fun box of toys for my chin boy today (Thanks Quality Mutation Chinchillas). I also got some whole rose hips for him. I am wondering how many I can give him per week. Is there some kind of limit?

No limit on rosehips. I give about 3 per week to my chins because I switch up treats for them. You may find your chin doesn't like the whole rose hip, I have a boy here who doesn't, I just bite the tip off for him and he's good to go!

I would also give the rosehip in his cage. shelly made a mess out of hers the first time I gave her one.

Yes they do have seeds in them that will spill out when they get them open. Agreed that I have some that don't care for them whole but will eat the broken ones.

Ended up giving him one last night and he LOVED it - happy to have found a nice and healthy treat
