Here is a new forum, my apologies if this is in the wrong section, but I know a lot of you rescue, and it only has 11 members. Worth giving a look at.

What a neat idea for a forum. I'd have to say all five of my chins are rescues even though Zeke did come from a breeder, he was not bred by her and she only took him from a rancher b/c he was going to put him down b/c he chewed his fur. She figured he might do better in a different environment. He seems to have stopped chewing now and is slowly but surely growing back. He just is doing much better in a quieter environment with no females around and I'd have to say that he is my chin with the most personality; I just love him.

Both our cats were rescues too. I'm going to join up too even though I'm pretty maxed out with the four forums that I participate in b/c I like all things pertaining to rescued animals. Thanks for the link. =)

98% of my animals are rescues. A few are from Pet store ONLY because they were sick and I knew they were going to be put down, or used as food(Rats). One is a Pedigree Chin who is a spoiled BRAT . I hate buying from pet stores but THOSE EYES, THOSE EYES get me. I have walked into petstores and been handed a Ferret that was "mean" he attacked a bird and then the owner. DUH! HE is a SWEETHEART. I have had "throw a way dogs,cats and even fish". I will try to join up but I have too many right now to keep up with but I will try.
