Does anyone else keep reptiles or amphibians here?

You can see what I keep in my signature. And I'm getting a cave gecko within the next month or two and three red-eyed leaf frogs in a week or two.

i have a young leopard gecko named nala, she's got a little snow leo in her but she's mostly yellow with black spots, beautiful girl. The boyfriend used to raise monitors, but his last Nile choked on a rat in the middle of the night and died a few years ago, Nala is the first rep he's even handled since, baby steps...

I don't have any now, but I used to keep Cuban tree frogs and also had a green iguana. I also used to have a colony of hermit crabs (although, they are crustaceans, not reptiles or amphibians).

yep. i've got a leopard gecko, a gargoyle gecko, and 5 crested geckos, along with quite a few eggs waiting for hatch.

I currently just have a bearded dragon. Next on my list ( not for a few years, when I actually get a house of my own, and have the proper space for it) is a Argentina Black and White Tegu. Perhaps also a snake of some type. Right now I LOVE the mandarin rat snake, but not much is known about them---semi-rare, some say harder to keep...but they seem like amazing snakes. The Tegu is deff. next on my list at some point.

Thought I'd post a picture of a Tegu. Depending on which type I go with, the regular ones are about 4' in length, and 15lbs the larger type is 60" and up to 20lbs in length. They are said to be "puppy dog tame", provided you feed them OUT of their enclouser as they are very aggressive eaters.

Bobby Hill ..err, Varnyard ...produces some of the nicest Tegus in the hobby. You cannot go wrong with one of his animals! ;)

As for my reptile family.. it is vast. I have a Kenyan Sand Boa, a Ball Python, 2 Amel Corns, 2 Black Ratsnakes, a Spotted Python, a leucistic TX Ratsnake, a Pacific Gopher, and 2 baby Burmese Pythons (on the way.. the boy is coming this Tuesday ..the girl has another week to eat, before she is old enough and stable enough to fly). I have a Beardie, a Bluey, a Uromastyx and an Iguana. I think the last count on Crested geckos was 13.. but would have to walk back there and do a head count. I have 4 Leopard gecko girls. There's a Bibron's gecko girly here. And I have a goofy RedFoot tortoise chica, too.

I also keep amphibians and arachnids.

I do rescue for exotic "kids" ..so that's my excuse or story or whatever ..for the large numbers. :neener:

I'm looking at getting one from Varnyard or another breeder with similar stock in NY :) Going to be ab it yet , but it's deff. something i'd be interested in in the future.

My husband and I have male and female veiled chameleons (2), a male ambilobe panther chameleon, and now a tokay gecko (sex unknown). Next on our list is a ball python (the husband desperately wants one), but we can't get that until we get a bigger house! I really want leopard geckos, and we almost got a couple rather than the tokay, but our local pet store begged us to take him so that he would go to someone who would take good care of him (he was at the store for almost 6 months, had escaped twice, and has had a nasty abscess on his lower jaw since they got him in).

I would love to have leopard geckos in my classroom, but new animal/school laws are too strict :(

I have a Egyptian Uromastyx, a Bearded Dragon, and a Black Throat Monitor. I really want a Red Tail Boa, but my mom won't let me have anything without legs while I'm in her house :(
