Re-bonding?

I had to get my poor Chesters leg amputated, he snapped his tibia in his foot so the vet said that was the best thing for him. He is getting on fine but putting him back into the cage with his brother he attacked him, I'm thinking he's feeling like he could overpower him so he's defending himself? They just wont settle with eachother? Does anyone have any tips or gone through a simaliar situation? If you could help please do I just don't want to have to seperate them.

You will need to start over with them. Treat it like they have never seen each other before. I would also wait until the injured one is totally healed before trying.
