I am shopping for a chinchilla safe and good overall play pen area.

Do any of you have experience with the Precision Pet Products Ultimate Exercise Pen? I'm thinking about buying the one that is Boxed Black 48-inch Ultimate ExPen with Door. I have read the Marshall one is good, but I was wondering if anyone had experience with this one. Thanks!

I have the pop up marshall one that I just got and it's great! My chin loves it and it's very durable and easily stored away....It's also completely hudinni-escape proof which is an absolute necessity!!!!

I used to recommend Marshall, until I found out that they are the largest ferret producing mill anywhere. I won't recommend them now.

Prevue makes a nice playpen that is pretty much identical to the Marshall. It has the canvas bottom that you can use for a lid as well.

I would not use the one you suggested for chins. The spacing in the bars is much too far apart. While it's okay for a dog, a chin could easily get it's head in there and either get stuck, or possibly squeeze the rest of the way through to escape. This is much safer http://tiny.cc/ssg20 - notice the bar spacing.

Thanks! I will look into the ones you guys recommended.
