It really was. The last four years I've been miffed that the airports I spend the longest in, Sea-Tac and Bush International have moved to pay wireless. I understand it's expensive to upkeep, and at $15 per day per airport too much for me. So I bring books, enough to hopefully cover the 10 hour trip and I always buy a National Geographic to stretch it as long as possible. :))

So this year Google has teamed up with Sea-Tac to offer free internet. Couldn't have asked for a better Christmas present while sitting in the airport.

And of course, I get a call yesterday .. "Your chinchilla! It had two babies! it had a 58 pound baby and a 37 pound baby". Me:"Did they bust out of the cage and ravage you?" Wasn't expecting them so have no idea who the culprit is.

Anyone else traveling for the holidays? Got any experiences to share this year? My last six flights have been uneventful, I'm overdue for a scary one.

No traveling for me until next month when I go visit my niece and nephew!

I hate the Seattle airport...not that there is anything wrong with it, just every time I think of it I think of the hours I had to spend in the satellite terminal (not connected to the rest of the airport). I walked circles around that place SOOO many times. It didn't help that half of it was blocked off for construction and it was foggy out so you couldn't see anything out the windows.

Congrats on the babies. Poor mama! And poor you! 58 lbs and 37 lbs! You are going to have to plant a whole forest to have enough wood for them! I would be too scared to return home!

I am, it's going to be a lot of cage cleaning. I'm hoping she managed to contain the 58 pound one, else I won't have any food left when I arrive, not sure what I'm going to do with the chin yule logs something of that size would leave. o_O

I don't mind Sea-Tac, it needs remodeled though. Bush is the worst of all of them, crowded, dirty (hot and smelly today) and in need of an overhaul. It's saving grace today is that Google is also providing the free service until Jan 15th. Awesome. So here I sit typing. Portland is amazing, they finished last year and what a neat place.
