Plastic in cage

On Sunday I am getting my chinchilla and I just realized I might not get the fleece for another week. I am so worried because the fleece is going to be covering the plastic in the cage meaning if I don't have it the plastic will be open and my chinchilla will be able to chew it. Is this going to be bad? It will only be for at most a week (I hope).

For alot of chins the first week is traumatic and the chin won't do much, keep a eye out for chew marks and you can always buy a piece of fleece and cover it up.

What stores sell fleece? would it be at any craft store? and how much would you say a piece of fleece big enough to cover the bottom of a ferret nation cage would cost? I can go shopping today if I have the money for it

ok so I just talked to my mom and she said there is a fabric store not to far from here so if the fleece I ordered doesn't come tomorrow we will get some on Friday or maybe Saturday. Thank you for the help.
