There's a petshop near my house where I sometimes stop by to check out the fishies and other cute pets they have.
For a good while there's been a chinchilla there. The first time I saw him (I'm not sure if it's a him, but he kinda looks like a boy.. lol) they said he was 2 months old. I'm not sure how long he's been there, but I'm going to tentatively say since October. He's not in a horrible cage (it's a bit small with plastic, but it's got a ledge at least...), but the poor thing has no hay and they keep his dustbath in there all the time, which he's dumped out in his cage obviously.
I just feel bad for him. I go by once in a while and take a look at him. He looked so sad today, I just want to take him home! But I have one chin already and another coming in 3-ish weeks...
If anyone is looking for a chinchilla in Montreal (St-Leonard/Anjou area), then this lil guy has been in the store for months and could use a good home!
PS: This is a petstore that once housed a rabbit with two guinea pigs together... (I took a photo and an employee asked if I needed help.. I said no and left haha)
