Patrick Swayze succumbs to cancer today

Rest in Peace Patrick. I hope you find peace and joy and solitude from obnoxious media and paparazzi today. I feel for Patrick's beautiful wife, Lisa. He fought this cancer for a long time. Pancreatic cancer usually has less than a 6 month life expectancy. He made it much longer. He seemed to be a good man and very loving husband. My thoughts are with his family.

That's very sad. Poor man, he really did live for a long time with that bad illness. I feel so bad for his family.

I watched the last interview he did with Barbara Streisand earlier this year, he had a lot of courage and strength, rest in peace Patrick Swayze!

Wow. It finally won. I loved that he called the media on their early euologies of him this spring. "Don't bury me yet!" actually made me laugh because he was so *right*. They were practically sitting around his house drooling like vultures, and he'd only begun to fight. At least he gets some rest from that now. Everyone deserves peace at the end.

When I got married, I told my husband that the only man I would ever leave him for was Patrick. My heart goes out to his wife and family during this time. He is my hero. He showed what it means to love someone with all his heart and never put anything before her. Well Heaven is now more beautiful with having this man amongst the angels. Thank you Lord for the time you let Patrick grace our lives and give us the beauty of his being with us. Rest in Peace.:cry3:

So sad to hear this, he really did seem to be a wonderful man. I heard Demi Moore posted this -

"And in the words of Sam to Molly. 'It's amazing Molly. The love inside, you take it with you.' I love and will miss you Patrick."

I am not a Swayze fan, but I am very sorry for his passing. He was just too young.
