Is it acceptable to pair more than 1 female to a male? If so how many females can you pair?

Yes, it's possible. It's done all the time with run breeding and with colonies. With run breeding, most folks go no more than 6 females to 1 male. With colonies, it really depends on the females. Since they are caged together, it will depend entirely on how they get along.
