Long story short... I have two baby litter mates. One is an extrovert who really needs attention. One is an introvert who really wants to be alone (at least until he settles down). Any interaction around the cage will freak him out. I have had them for just over a week.

I don't want to neglect the social one just because the anti-social one needs more time alone to adapt. I don't want to uncomfortably pressure the anti-social one just because the other begs for attention. So my question is, has anyone dealt with socializing chins in the same cage with radically different personalities?

Is there a reason you can't interact with the one who wants attention, and leave the other one alone until he is ready?

I personally would not try to do much socialization on chins who have only been there a week. The anti-social one may not be anti-social, he might just be scared. I would leave them alone for another week before reassessing the personalities.

Chins can be different. Not all children, dogs, cats, or anything else is just like another. Treat them differently. Give them what they need and be patient.

Unless you got them from a breeder who is very knowledgeable I would check their sexes to make sure you know what you have.
