Okay so I'm taking Leo to the vet in a couple hours because i'm a little worried about him, I've heard him sneeze a couple of times/grind his teeth, and he doesn't seem to be eating as much in the past couple of days. He's sleeping a bit more as well.. I figured its better to be safe than sorry. And if nothing's wrong then it'll help me be less stressed.
This is my first vet visit for him. I'm going to a place that has a doctor that treats exotics, I even called to make sure she's treated chinchillas before. What are key questions to ask/look for? Will I know if she has no idea what she's talking about?
Also, if it turns out that he DOES have a URI, what medicine(s) would be appropriate to give him, just so I have an idea if she's prescribing the right thing. OMG WILL I HAVE TO GIVE HIM SHOTS?! :confused2: He's only about 8months old, and I know there's something out there that's not good for young chins, I just don't remember what it is or what it treats.
Thank you guys I really appreciate your input!!
EDIT: This is where I'm going just for info
