I don't have enough money as of right now to buy those Bass Pans for the FN to cover the plastic, It won't be too long, but is there some kind of material to cover them easily? I'm thinking of maybe making fleece liners, but somehow cover all the plastic.
I even thought about buying small tiles to put on the sides, but with my luck one of my chins, probably tigger lol will somehow get one off and maybe even ingest the "glue" or whatever is holding them together.

Does anyone have other ideas to cover them until I get the Bass Pans, or even so I don't have to get them at all if the cover works that good?
Thanks.

Buy a few yards of fleece and make giant pillow cases to slide right over the pans. That's what I did, and a lot of others do the same. You can fold the open end underneath the pan so they can't pull it off, and all the other edges are covered.

Was it hard to make them? We don't have a sewing machine lol. My moms good at sewing though.
Also are they a pain to change out since you have to take the pan out everytime to get them off?

Not hard to make at all. Cut to size, fold in half, sew two seams down either side and turn it inside out. That's it. If your mom sews, she'll know how to do it.

Changing them was kind of a pain (at least I thought it was), but like you, I only did it temporarily until I got my tiles, so it wasn't a long-term thing anyway.

Ok thanks!

Thankyou, what a great idea. Drives me crazy the way that the mess up the fleece and push it around the cage. Makes me wonder why I even bother. I sewed ties on some but they still mess them up and even sleep under the fleece.

One yard of fleece will make one double layered liner for a Ferret Nation pan, but that is the kind that fits inside the pan. Not sure about the pillowcase kind, you would probably need a lot of extra fleece to be able to fold it under and tuck...

Hmm, ok, thinking then that it would require an extra 3 " all the way around to get it over that lip of the trays and so it slides on and off easily.
