My mom tears up her smocks like nobody'd business. Usually claws or paws catching them. Does anyone know of either some heavy duty smocks that are cool and light weight, or cheap ones!? A few years back we totally stocked up on some pro groomer smocks that were on clearance for like $4.. but now she's on her last one, and the cheapest I can find them is running about $15 each! Not a good deal for her.

I don't get it, maybe the way she carries the animals? I have my embroidered jacket I've had for 6 or more years and some of those smocks, I'm going to send her one or two new ones for now... without holes!

Riven, I like my one from Stlyist wear, but another one I got, I ripped the zipper out really easily. She may want to think about how she holds the dogs. I am really short, so when I hold the dogs, their feet are right where the pocket is. $15 is about the right price- the Stylist ones run around $19. Also, she can get satin/poly blend blouses and wear those- the hair does not stick those.

I think her shortness might be part of her problem as well, she ends up with dog paws in her pockets very often!
