On the other site people suggested the neel veterinary hospital, i myself will never take another chin there because my chin almost had a heat stroke from there handling her in a towle but i was wondering if any one new of a good vet in oklahoma?

Um i rachel reeves i think that was her name! what bothred me the most was she didnt even have a chin and you should have seen how red my girls ears got! i was so angry

I have seen Rachel and not had a problem. I do handle the chins myself though during the exams so we don't use a towel for them. She's been very good to my animals. I have also seen Dr. Ketz at the vet school in OK. I don't think there are a lot of very chinchilla experienced vets in Oklahoma, at least not close to me. Maybe in Tulsa?

Yeah i mean i live in moore and so far she is the only onei have found and i wasnt to impressed dont get me wrong though if either one of my girls were to get sick soon i would have to take them back to rachel but im just looking for someone i actually approve of wich is becoming a hard task

At Renegar`s Animal Hospital here in McAlester the Vets are very good when it comes to birth problems in chinchillas. They safed three of my females, two needed a C-section and they were able to get the stuck baby out of a third one without having to cut her open. All three are doing great, they were not spayed.

But when it comes to a sick chinchilla they have no idea what it could be and what to do. They are true country vets.
