My husband and I are considering moving to Ohio, possibly the Columbus area. I have breeders and suppliers close to me right now in Cordova, TN (Memphis). However, we don't know anyone in Ohio. Does anyone on this site know anyone in that area. I know at one time, we had a list of members by location, but I can't find it.

I live about 30 minutes from Columbus with my family during the summers (the rest of the time I'm at school in Athens.) Shoots chinchilla ranch is just down the road from my house and Ritterspach is about 2 hours away. There's also Seward breeders in Geneva, OH, but I've heard that they're stopping breeding and becoming a rescue? There's also JT Chins in Minerva, OH, and they sell a few supplies. Che' Chinchilla is also a breeder who sells a few things, and they're located in Circleville, OH, which is probably 45 minutes to an hour south of Columbus. What kind of supplier are you looking for? JT and Shoots both sell a few things I know.

Sherry how can you even think of leaving the home of The King! And Memphis barbeque? Does Ohio EVEN have barbeque??! LOL! I guess you could move to Ohio and I could come to visit and we could make our own barbeque!!!! Now there's an idea!

The crime. There is a reason our fair city is featured on 48 Hours all the time. :( I have lived her most of my life, but it's time to move on. We owe it to the kids. Girl, you can visit anywhere we go. My house is your house.

Emily, I forgot to add I was looking for chinchilla breeders, chinchilla rescues, and anyone close by with knowledge.

Many a day I wish I lived back up north in Ann Arbor. Everything chin is in Ohio and the surrounding areas.

Columbus is a really nice city! My boyfriend and his sister live there, and I visit them as much as I can. I'd definitely move there if I wasn't going to school here :(

Memphis is scaaaarry (and hot!). It is the 2nd most dangerous city to live in!

We've looked at Columbus but here to there didn't work out for interviews and current work. It is a nice area and full of ranchers and chin people, you should have no issue finding whatever you need.

Mandy at Peek A Boo chins (username was babytiger) is in Columbus. I think she was selling out though.

I think we are going to love it there! I have heard nothing but good things so far.

i am also from Ohio :D
I live in Gallipolis. and i hate it. I drive to either columbus (2 hrs away) chillicothe (1.5 hours away) or Cincinnati (3 hours away) to get pet supplies for my babies.
It's terriable. I wanna live in Chicago! i love cold :D
