Obama played in Peoria!!!

Whether you are republican or democrat, I still think this is pretty cool...

Obama definitely came to my town today! He stopped by on his way to Springfield for Lincoln's 200th birthday celebration.... mostly because of Caterpillar.

I also realized I have one handshake to the President Man since I personally know and have talked with Secretary of Transportation Ray LaHood (also from Peoria). Obama has also been to the TV station I work at- eee!

I don't mean to boast, I was just excited about the day, the news coverage I did at work today on Obama's visit and had to express it!

Obama was here two days agotalking about our crappy economy and our neighborhoods since our town was the hardest hit in the nation with the real estate crap... Im waiting to see how he will figure out how to fix it.

I guess. He was here all day yesterday. A clip of one of the students from the neighboring college asking him a question was on the yahoo front page yesterday.
