not drinking, flipping out, and lost connection. very tired.

i got a male chinchilla (i thought it was a girl and now he thinks his name is zoey teehee) but hes just laying here looking rather irritated. it really humid here in georgia.so that might be one factor of his mood. but hes very jumpy, doesnt do well with me holding him (which is strange because hes so friendly and i can hold him for 5 min straight) he laying under his hammock. hes doing his thing where he pouts at me for a day or two. i just cleaned his cage and he got out from his miniature cage (i know, it my fault :-( )and for about 20 min he was under my bed.its about 69-70 degrees. please help. he mad at me and i feel like a terrible owner

Is this the same chin as Pepper? Is he or she still under the bed? Is he lethargic or just cranky that you cleaned the cage?

yes it is zoey aka pepper. hes out under my bed hes just so jumpy and is bouncing off the walls
