I haven't seen any listings for upcoming shows, or field days, and was wondering if anyone knew if they had anything planned for this year?

You are welcome to come to the West Coast show if that works into your schedule. Should be a lot of people there as well.

Seachin - It's still a show, just a more relaxed one. They tend to be judged a little easier than a regular show. So it's purpose is a show, like any other show, and anybody and everybody goes. Some people go to show, some to watch and learn, some to buy chins. :)

The nice thing about a field day is that you can stand up there with the judge(s), ask questions, they tend to talk to the audience a lot more as an educational thing. At the last one everyone judged the animals, not just a dedicated judge.

It's a lot of fun, I'd recommend hitting up as many of the local shows as you can.

Oh I'll be there. I do have one suggestion though for some of us east siders who got lost at last yrand drove around for an hour.... lol
Maybe use florescent poster board with MCBA in huge BOLD letters. We sometimes need a bit of extra help. ;) I've only been to the west side 4 times in my short 37 yrs and get lost every time. :)

I'll make it easy for you: From the east take I-90 west to Bellevue/Seattle area. Take exit 13 which is Lakemont Blvd. Turn left onto Lakemont at the bottom of the ramp and head up the hill. Past two street lights, and at the three-way stop turn right. Directly on your right you'll see a huge parking garage and our foundation for our new church. Pull into the parking lot and at the far end you'll see stairs down to the lodge. The show will be in the garage on Saturday, the seminar in the lodge and chins can be housed in the lodge over Friday night.

There was a sign last year but it kept getting blown around. There will be signs this year and I'm going to try to nail it down better

See you there,

Last time I heard from her was back in February. I had emailed her regarding the Field Day show back in October, and if the results were going to be posted or if she had them. There was some confusion with a couple people I know about who placed in what catagory etc.

The only thing i had seen was on her web site but that info was for a meeting and has also been taken down. I had tried a couple monthes ago to contact her and got no reply.

Had thought about changing from West Coast chapter because NW chapter is closer for me but am now rethinking that decision.

Update:

Just talked to Jerry Craner who is VP of NW chapter. At this point no show has been planned. Due to an accident in January (Joanne Craner was hit head-on by a drunk driver and broke her back) he has not been in show mode.
Joanne will hopefully be out of her brace the end of this month and things will get a little back to normal for them.

He also told me Michelle is expecting another child this summer so she probley isn't feeling into show mode either. He said probley Rondas in the fall will be the next thing.

Best I could get folks.

Thanks Sheri!

It's Ronda's in the fall that we're trying to plan. She needs to know when it will be.

I don't have Jerry's address, but if they're ok with it she'll pick a date convenient for her and go with it?

That I don't know Tara. I guess....the best I can say is maybe someone call Michelle?

I can pm you with Jerry's address and phone number if oyu would like
