noises in sleep

whilst i was unintentionally napping on the sofa i was woke my tails squeaking
I got up to investigate to find she was asleep but still making noises...is this normal? is she just dreaming. I have known dogs to do this but wasnt sure on Chinchillas?

Everything is just fine, chinchillas have the capability to have dreams and nightmares just like us. I was confused the first time I heard it too lol

mine make noises in their sleep all the time. Its quite interesting i think lol.

she does it most nights now. i find it interesting too..i wonder what they dream about?!

mine make sounds all the time, in their sleep. sometimes it's simple happy sounds... other times I think their haivng "daymares" - full out terror screams while alseep, but over very quickly.
