No more melanoma!

I just got a call from my surgeon and he had received my test results after removing about 4" square of skin. There is NO more melanoma in the skin or the lymph node! I am so relieved and pray this is the last of it. The scars are massive, both over 8", the armpit one is a straight line and the excision is an odd diamond shape with one side missing and another line to the side. I am so happy to get some good news for once.

What wonderful news!!! That's got to brighten up your day!!! Hopefully this is the end of your scare and you can put this all behind you. Congratulations on being melanoma free!!!

Thank you! It is such a relief to have it out of my body, I was petrified they would find more and I would need radiation, that would just be so hard. It is amazing how things like this change your life and outlook on life, I think it was actually a good thing.
